DLR
is the national aerospace research centre as well as the German
space agency.
DLR is in charge of a wide scope of research and development projects
in national and international partnerships. Beyond its own research,
DLR is the federal government's space agency and carries out the
German space programme.
DLR consists of 30 institutes including test and operation facilities.
It has approximately 5000 employees working at nine locations:
Berlin, Bonn, Braunschweig, Goettingen, Hamburg, Koeln-Porz (Headquaters
and Administration), Lampoldshausen, Oberpfaffenhofen and Stuttgart.
Furthermore, DLR has offices in Paris, Brussels and Washington
D.C. |
