These Rosetta images were submitted by amateur astronomers in Europe, Africa, Canada and USA for the "Rosetta Up Close" photo contest.

They show Rosetta near Earth during ESA's closest-ever Earth Fly-by, on 4 March 2005 at about 22:00 UTC (Rosetta skimmed Mexico at 1954 kms). All images are of a very high quality and show good composition and, best of all, enthusiasm!
