 Building the ISS

Subject:
Science

Level:
***

Description:

3D simulation of the assembly of the ISS structure. The students are asked to assemble the ISS parts step by step adding modules and components in the preferred order and structure. In this way they can reproduce the actual Station but even figure out a new assembly. The modules and the structure can be rotated, shifted or zoomed in. Instructions are given in the first panel of the exercise.

Objective(s):

Knowledge:
  - ISS building blocks
  - Structure of the ISS
Understanding:
  - ISS assembly phases
Skills:
  - 3D visualisation
  - Identification and organization of parts
  - Complete, modify, reconstruct a model
