Since the last Earth Explorer Candidate Core Missions User Consultation Meeting held in Granada, Spain, in 2001 and the Call for Earth Explorer Opportunity Missions, ESA has been working on the next generation of candidate missions and is currently evaluating the resulting six Earth Explorer satellite concepts (three Core Missions and three Opportunity Missions). Before the Earth Science Advisory Committee gives it recommendation to the Agency on the excellence of the six candidate missions, the Earth Observation scientific community are invited to take part in The Earth Explorer User Consultation Meeting which will take place on 19-20 April 2004 at ESRIN, Frascati, Italy.

Please note that meeting space and hotel bookings are limited and it is advised to register and make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. The deadline for meeting and hotel registration is 18 March 2004.
